Music is a very powerful medium. It can change a mood, offer a new perspective and sometimes even alter the direction of someone's life. There have been many times in the past few years when I have been all too willing to just give in and admit defeat but then I would hear an inspiring song and my whole outlook would change. And that right there is the magic that music has to offer! As most people know, I am a bit of a hip hop head. I love my rap music all the way from the beat, the voice of the artist to the lyrical content. It's in this light that I decided to write a post detailing my favourite inspirational hip hop songs. I hope you will give these a listen and go out into the world feeling like a boss afterwards! (insert Rick Ross grunt here)
