Today I've decided to post up a poem about cats. As I'm sure you have noticed, I have an intense love of these gorgeous, intelligent creatures. To me, it doesn't get any better than a feline friend. That's why I've decided to dedicate today's poem to kitties all over the world, especially my two babies back home, Ritz and Peanut.
ODE TO KITTIES
My vision in life is quite simple you see It entails having you adore me
Feed me well and keep me warm
Pet my head and compliment my charm
Love me unconditionally
Quite simply, serve me
I will sit on your clothes and shed my hair
Purr in your ear to let you know I'm there
Hog the blanket, pin you down
Meeow my loudest so you know that I'm around
Steal your favourite spot on the couch and make it mine
And at 5 o' clock, you should know it's feeding time!
Make me the center of your world, treat me rightDo all your duties with delight
Give me every pleasure I deserve
Be loyal and remember who you serve!
